Obituary of Harry F. Fahrendorf

Fahrendorf, Harry F., 83, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday January 16, 2002. He came here in 1969 from his native Covington, KY. He served with the tank battalion in the United States Army during WWII and the infantry during the Korean War. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier in St. Petersburg and retired in 1978 after 33 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He loved to bowl. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Virginia; one son, Ted, St. Petersburg; one daughter, Harriet Boomer, Falmouth, ME; five grandchildren: Rebecca and Bryan Fahrendorf, and Jason, Heather, and Sarah Boomer.
