Obituary of Leo J. Lee'' Carney

Carney, Leo J. ?Lee?, 92, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday January 22, 2002. Born in Oaklyn, New Jersey, he came here in 1956 from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He was a City Water Plant Operator for the City of St. Petersburg, retiring in 1974. He was a member of American Legion Post 14 and the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include 3 sons, Leo John ?Jake? Carney, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Thomas G. Carney of St. Petersburg and Richard C. Carney of Cairo, Georgia, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
