Obituary of George Carvis

Carvis, George T., 68, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday January 23, 2002 at home. Born in Somerville, New Jersey, he came to St. Petersburg in 1982 from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He retired as a truck driver for Singleton Shrimp and Seafood Company in Tampa, Florida and most recently was a delivery driver for Pinellas Press of Clearwater. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Carvis, 2 sons, Gary Carvis of Myakka City, Florida and Glen Carvis of Pinellas Park and a granddaughter, Christina Carvis of Pinellas Park.
