Obituary of Delmer Del'' J. New

New, Delmer J. ?Del,? 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday February 6, 2002 at home. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, he came here in 1983 from Huntington, West Virginia. He had worked in Huntington for the CSX Railroad for 43 years and retired as their Personnel Manager. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Esther J.; three sons: Scott, Columbus, GA; Richard, Conway, SC; and Ross, Carrollton, GA; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
