Obituary of James S. Simonson

Simonson, James S., 68, of Pinellas Park, died Saturday February 16, 2002 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Scranton, North Dakota, he came here in 1957 from Marathon, Iowa. He was owner and operator of the Piccadilly Gift Shops and Jewelry at several locations. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Koula; one son, Jim S., Largo, FL; one daughter, Phyllis S. Koehler, Lakeland, FL; one brother, John Simonson, Clearwater, FL; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the building fund of St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, 3600-76th St. N., St. Petersburg, 33710.
