Malecot, Bruce H., Sr., 64, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday March 6, 2002 at home. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he came here in 1949 from Jersey City. He was Vice President of Coastal Steel Construction Company in St. Petersburg for 45 years. He was an Episcopalian. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Gail Malecot, a daughter, Lori Guth of Seminole, Florida, 2 sons, Bruce H. ?Buzz? Malecot, Jr. of Largo, Florida and Todd A. Malecot of Madeira Beach, Florida, 2 sisters, Carol Maronge of St. Petersburg and Holly Nieswender of Zephyrhills, Florida and 5 grandchildren, Mitchell Malecot and Matthew Malecot, both of Largo, Florida, Phillip Malecot of Belleair Beach, Florida, Madeline Malecot of Madeira Beach, Florida and Tyler Guth of Seminole, Florida.
