Obituary of Norman E. Backius

Backius, Norman E., 88, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday March 7, 2002 at Largo Medical Center. Born in Roslindale, Massachusetts, he came here in 1979 from Manhattan Beach, California. He was a production control manager at Cal-Power Corporation in El Secundo, California for 18 years. He was a member of St. Vincent?s Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Madeline, 2 daughters, Nancy Hendrix of Tampa, Florida and Judith Schutz of Orlando, Florida and 3 grandchildren, Michael, Joseph and Adam.
