Obituary of Phyllis M. Plaza

Plaza, Phyllis M., 76, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday March 7, 2002. Born in Harman, West Virginia, she came here in 1949 from Akron, Ohio. She retired as a Hostess and Waitress for the St. Petersburg Yacht Club and Rollande & Pierre?s restaurant. She had been a volunteer at Bayfront Medical Center, when it was still Mound Park Hospital. She was an avid baseball and football fan. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Ron ?RP?; three daughters: Sherida Bowen, Mira Loma, CA; Tina Hill-Schweinle, and Allison Hill-Grittani, both of St. Petersburg; one son, David Plaza, St. Petersburg; one brother, Roger Day, Harman, WV; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
