Ruth Josephine Gibbs, 96, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Saturday, January 15, 2011. Mrs. Gibbs was born in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to St. Petersburg in 1999 from Deland, Florida. She was a Homemaker, a Life Member of OES - Kansas City, KS and a member of Fairview Baptist Church Kansas City. She was the widow of Robert Holland Gibbs.She is survived by her daughter, Beverly G. Versfelt of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
