Obituary of John J. Girard

John J. "Johnny" Girard, Sr. 68, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 in the emergency room at Northside Hospital And Heart Institute. He was a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 25 years service serving during the Korean and Viet Nam Wars. After his retirement from the Air Force, he was a salesman for the former Parker Rabe Paper Company in St. Petersburg. He was the son of the late Theodore M. "Ted" Girard and Edna E. Hunt Girard. He was predeceased by a sister Dane Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Rita N. E. Girard, two sons, John J. Girard, Jr. of St. Petersburg, Michael J. Girard of Jacksonville, Arkansas, one sister, Zeta G. Bobbitt of St. Petersburg, two grandchildren, Brent and Jessica Girard of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews. $(document).ready(function(){ });
