Dear Mr. and Mrs. Gravelyn, I am so sad to hear of this tragic news about my great friend Gordy. I met Gordon in 1981 as a new crew member on board the yacht Enterprise owned by Amway Corp. Your son was the uniquely employed carribean coordinater.We hit it off right away, and became surfing buddies.I even lived with him in Cowpet Bay St.Thomas when he waited tables. We continued to stay in touch over years and my last contact from him was after he went to Las Vegas.I was unsuccessful to reach him thru phone or internet and now I know why. I am very curious how this happened as he was the posterboy of good health. Please accept my belated condolences.I thank you for honoring him with this online memorial. I searched his name in the google search engine and was directed to this memorial today(12/06/09). Approaching the 2 yr anniversary of his passing he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
