God Bless The Ellingtons Message from: Alan and Evelyn Ellington 7/18/01, 11:39 AM Dear Rudy, Cheryl, & Jan,Marie and I were saddened to hear of Clara's homegoing. Our thoughts and prayers certainly are with each of you at this difficult time.We can't remember ever knowing a sweeter spirit, a kinder person, or one with as much love and compassion for others. She was an inspiration to all who were blessed to have been touched by her gentle nature. A loving mother and devoted wife, she loved her Lord with all her heart, and served Him well. Thisworld will truly miss her passion for life, her compassion for people and her service to others. Clara was one of those very special people that it didn't matter if you knew her for years or just a few moments, she left her mark in your heart and you felt better about yourself just because you knew her. We willalways remember her thoughtfulness. If there was a need, Clara was always the first in line to help. Perhaps her humility was her greatest quality. She truly followed the scriptures........" He must increase and I must decrease." As you struggle with your loss, you KNOW it's only temporary, so be encouraged and comforted by the knowledge that she now is in the very presence of the Lord she has loved and served for so many years. and is waiting to greet each of you when you go HOME ! May you be surrounded by His grace, and comforted with His peace. Message from: Rev. & Mrs. Wayne Vanderpoel 7/18/01, 7:07 AM Cheryl, Jan and "Dad", you all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is such a difficult time for you.
