It's been quite a while but I'm thinking about you today and wishing I could have a session. I hope you are someplace wonderful. You are so sorely missed. I guess it's good you did not endure COVID, it sure stinks. I'm not sure where you are, but be well my friend.

Dr. Keane has been treating me and my daughter for over 20 years. My daughter was around 12 years old when she started receiving the benefits of his treatment. I cannot even put into words what he meant to us. He went through so many phases of life with us and we were processing life better because of him. He will be missed more than I can say although he taught us so much more about connecting with our inner source and we will be forever grateful.
Thank you Dr. K for sharing your gifts with us. Your spirit is eternal.
Namaste!
Shawn and Erika

Sympathy and condolences to Marty's wife and siblings (I am a friend of Claire's ) . Though I didn't know Him, this obituary was so well done and gave such insight into his life and personality. Know he served this world well and will be deeply missed.

I am stunned by this loss.
As I was growing up, the Keane aunts and uncles went in their many directions, so I never lived in the same town as Marty. But we saw him regularly, and his presence was always so strong. His sly humor went over my head as a kid, and I remember feeling a bit suspicious of him for it and yet eager to bask in his presence.
I'm grateful that as an adult, I got to know him more deeply and share in real conversations as (almost) equals. I was still learning from you, dear Marty. I am heartbroken that your time on this plane is over. I will miss your smile, your insight to the heart of matters, and your loving strength.
Laura, I've always held you and Marty in my heart as an example of what a relationship could be. I can only imagine the depth and breadth of your grief. But I am here to walk beside you and support you in any way that I can.
love always, Liz

Dear Laura,
My thoughts are with you and your family. Thank you for sharing Marty with us for all these years.
My Memory: I started seeing Marty quite a number of years ago at the recommendation of a friend. I was skeptical only for a short time! What we worked on together was usually solved in short order. Like another memory listed here, I too was told that my some of my replies were "Interesting" followed by that charming grin. You knew, it was a fun challenge for him to solve. Dear Marty! Thank you for all your wisdom, time, and energy. I have learned a great deal. I will truly, miss you! Love & Light! V. Scott

I remember my consultations with Marty so well, even years later. In particular, as he would ask me questions about my symptoms and experiences and I would share my responses, as often as not, he would break out in a smile while saying, "that's so interesting." I used to chuckle because he took such joy in the journey to find the right treatment. Marty was a gift to all who were fortunate to encounter him in this journey of life. I am so grateful to have known him and will carry those memories with me always.

Oh Marty, my vivid memories of you are the hilarious visits with you and Laura. Sometimes with my crazy boys, sometimes not. How you would roll your eyes when I had left your office an hour earlier and I'm still there chatting to Laura after another appointment has slipped by lol. You empowered my then thirteen year old to speak up in his fear and you did the right thing. Always. You are now back to source and no less funny and fascinating I'm sure. Thank you for everything you and Laura have done for us in my family. I appreciate you both, so much and I will not forget you. Big love xxx

I remember taking a family trip from Virginia Beach up to NYC to visit Jim and Marty in the early 1980s. Marty was making these huge art pieces with shapes and lots of blobbed-on paint in dark pink, grey-blue, grey, and blueish-green. The pieces had lots of square corners. I remember that they were really heavy.

I was touched by your comment of Marty "observing the interactions of human kind" and remembering a gathering of our friends at my house a few year ago. Marty was out by the pool, doing just that --- "observing humankind" and making witty comments! Pure joy to watch him observing the boisterous group and enjoy his intelligent wit and quiet, kind manner. He will be missed. Condolences to all of his family and friends. Carol Knox Lavender

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mary and I were associated with him almost from the beginning. I took his medical Qui Gong classes as long as he had them at his office and they were a source of moving meditation that used to calm me. I know he enjoyed working with Mary and her sense of humor and perhaps he will see her again soon. My best to you, Andy Foertsch
