Obituary of Mae Aumais

Aumais, Mae Frances, 84, of St. Petersburg passed away May 11, 2018 in her home after an extended illness.  Born and raised in Stettler, Alberta, Canada, she and husband Jack moved to St. Petersburg with their children in 1963.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack; her parents Daniel and Grace O’Shea; and brothers Ross and Roger O’Shea.  Mae is survived by her son, Danny Aumais of St. Petersburg; daughter and son-in-law Jill and Ray Helgren of St. Petersburg; and brothers Neil, Tom and Russell O’Shea of Alberta, Canada.  Mae was a loving wife and mother who was quick-witted, resourceful, and artistic.  She loved to RV across the country and travel.  She also loved animals very much.  Her lovely smile and quick wit will be missed and remembered by all who knew her.  Mae’s memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11am at Anderson McQueen Memorial Chapel 7820 38^th Ave N in St. Petersburg.
