Obituary of Louis Desiato

Desiato, Louis, 95, of St. Petersburg passed away January 30, 2019 at home. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; and five sisters. He was a loving and supportive father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Lou was an avid baseball fan, he enjoyed watching The Rays and as a hobby, he loved to work with his hands. He was an Army veteran, serving in WWII in Southeast Asia. Lou was a consistent contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Lou is survived by children, Lori Gina Desiato, Linda Gerard Parker, Mark Schaefer; four grandchildren, Mindy, Ed (Ruth), Christy, Adam; eight great-grandchildren, Jessica, Tony, Hannah, Layne, Madeline, Stone, Christian, Presley; siblings, Mike, Sal, Dominic, Anthony, John, Mary, Margaret; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
