Aunt Dolores will be greatly missed. She was an exceptional listener. Even as a child, when we were talking, she made me feel that she cared what I was saying and treated me with respect.
I loved to visit her house that was so filled with kids, dogs, and fun. She always had a dog on her lap; Coco, Evie, Chino, to name the ones that I remember.
She had a quick wit and loved to laugh. Upon hearing of her death, one of my sons said, 'She was such a sweet person. We were really lucky in the aunt department.'
I couldn't agree more. Rest well, dear Aunt D.

Aunt Delores will be dearly missed. My mother, Mary Jessop, always loved the time that they spent together, as have I. Her daughter Anne and I had the opportunity to take a river cruise with both of them and what troopers they were! Aunt Delores was in a wheelchair but she looked forward to every aspect of the tour.
She always expressed genuine enjoyment of the wonderful, sometimes chaotic, time with her kids and grandchildren, extended family and pets. It was always interesting to "get her read" on a situation or event because she had such insight. Her tremendous sense of humor made our time together so much fun and you could count on coming away with some bit of wisdom that she had collected.
