It came to me this morning as I was looking over the beautiful pictures of Brother Lemuel’s family pictures. I focused in on Mom Cousins, holding her first born beloved son. Truly a virtuous woman. God gave Lemuel a virtuous women for a mother to train him as a man after Gods heart. Instantly, I remembered Lemuel’s name an it’s reference to Proverbs 31: 1
The words of King Lemuel the prophecy that his mother taught him. Vs 10, Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. 12. She will do him good and no evil all the days of her life.
Vs 20 she stretch out her hand to the poor, yea she stretch’s forth her hands to the needy. Vs 26. She open her mouth with wisdom: and in her tongue is the law of kindness. Her character is to not eat the bread of idleness, her children rise up call her blessed, she excels all of her daughters. Favor is deceitful, beautiful is vain. But a woman who fears the Lord. Shall be praised. Vs 31, give her the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her at the gates.
