Obituary of Macie J. "Junior" Anders

Anders, Macie J."Junior", 69, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday June 12, 2001 at home under the care of hospice. Born in Bible Grove, Missouri, he came here in 1957 from Quincy, Illinois. He was a welding shop foreman for Misener Marine in Tampa, Florida for 25 years. He was a 25 year member of Northside Lodge 283 F.&A.M., Tampa Consistory, Selama Grotto Egypt Shrine Temple, and a member of the Florida Antique Power Club, the Florida Flywheelers and Lealman United Methodist Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Betty J. Anders, a son, John A. Anders of St. Petersburg, a daughter, Lisa E. Anders of St. Petersburg, a brother, Basil Anders of Downing, Missouri, a sister, Martha Mae Rogers of Kirksville, Missouri, and a granddaughter, Annemarie N. Anders of St. Petersburg.
