Obituary of Wade Truett Farmer

Farmer, Wade Truett, 85, of Tallahassee, FL and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday February 9, 2002. Born in Norge, OK, he came to St. Petersburg in 1957 from Valdosta, GA. He owned and operated B&B Electric Motors in St. Petersburg from 1961 until 1986. He also served as Co-Director of the Children?s Church at First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg. He moved to Tallahassee, FL in 1999. Survivors include his daughter, Dana Lynne Farmer, Tallahassee, FL; son, Duane T., Woodstock, GA; brother, Darwin Farmer, Terrell, TX; two granddaughters: Melissa C. Telenko, Alpharetta, GA; and Amanda Farmer, Decatur, GA; and one great-grandson, Benjamin Telenko, Alpharetta, Ga; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oklahoma Baptist University, Box 61275, Shawnee, OK 74804. Checks may be made out to OBU and designate for the Truett and Ruth Farmer Scholarship.
